Company founder, Shawn Keeper, has impressive credentials. He has a degree in civil engineering, as well as certificates in structural engineering and management sciences from the University of Waterloo, in addition to a P.Eng. designation. He also has years of experience with one of Canada’s largest home builders bolstered by numerous field Engineering and Management positions. Some of his projects include The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto and Lester B. Pearson International Airport Terminal One Development.
At a community level, Shawn is dedicated to building long-lasting relationships in the community. He is a member of the Ontario Home Builders Association (OHBA) & Tarion Warranty Corporation Liaison Committee, founder and director of the nationally registered charity Lights Camera Imagine of Canada (LCI), a professional member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), and professional member of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, along with certificates in Management Sciences and Structural Engineering.
On a personal note Shawn will drive others to achieve greater things. He is never influenced by emotion alone when making decisions. He is known to make the best use of available resources, and takes an efficient and direct approach. Shawn brings directions and realism to every project, contributing vigorously and energetically to the intention at hand. He will quickly determine the important factors when problems arise. Most importantly, he will defend the truth and is not frightened to stand up for it. Shawn strongly encourages independent thinking, and challenges existing methods; “bringing people to life.”
Carrie Della Luna – Director of Finance & Operations
As Director of Finance & Operations, Carrie is responsible for all of the financial operations of the Dunsire family of companies. She began her Dunsire career in Waterloo in March 2013. She has risen through the accounting ranks to a senior level accountant, with her extensive accounting experience with other great Ontario home builders such as Homes by Desantis and Branthaven Homes. Carrie is a senior level accounting professional in the construction industry with a strong financial background and extensive experience in information technology.
At a community level, Carrie is dedicated to the arts and culture with her involvement in local and provincial youth dance. Carrie is also an active coach and manager for youth rep and recreation soccer with the Ancaster Soccer Club.
Carrie is currently pursuing her Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA), while she also holds a Business Accounting Diploma and a Business Internet Skills Certificate from Mohawk College.
On a personal note Carrie challenges existing methods if she feels they are inadequate and is always looking for ways to improve performance. She contributes vigorously and energetically, while being a pillar of strength for others. Carrie is known to consider the practicalities of any issue and provide an anchor to reality. She can be continually relied upon to pull more than her weight.
Misha Allard – Director of Sales & Marketing
As Director of Sales & Marketing, Misha is responsible for managing the brand and communications of the Dunsire family of companies. She began her Dunsire career in Waterloo in August 2012. Misha joined Dunsire with extensive marketing experience on a national scale with her position as Chef of Canadian Sales & Communications at PaperChef, Relationship Manager at OpenSRS/Tucows, along with founder and past partner of tbk Creative.
At a community level, Misha is dedicated to volunteering both locally and internationally. She has been active in continued education as a leader and coach for Landmark Education. Misha is an active actress with Seventh House Talent, pursing growth in human expression and the power of story. She is also an active director of the nationally registered charity Lights Camera Imagine of Canada (LCI).
Misha holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from the University of Western Ontario. She has also completed the curriculum for living, and coached, with Landmark Education.
On a personal note Misha encourages others to compete, maintaining and generating high team aspirations. She sees the “big picture,” with a “can do” attitude ready to offer service. Misha motivates others with contagious enthusiasm, providing creative input, and generates fast results by taking action.
